MAC Observing Sessions
at MAC-Hunter
The Midlands Astronomy Club hosts a monthly star party for its members and guests. These events are held on a rotating basis at two dark sky sites in South Carolina, the MAC-Hunter site being one. These gatherings are a great way to learn from fellow astronomers and get a chance to see the views through a variety of telescope types. They are also an excellent opportunity for beginners to learn about the characteristics of the various type scopes before making their first equipment purchase. At the MAC-Hunter site, no one goes hungry...the six resident astronomers always hold a cookout for those in attendance. As the Beatles once said, "A Splendid Time Is Guaranteed for All!"
