NGC 4565 - Edge-On Spiral Galaxy in Coma Berenices

NGC 4565 is a typical Spiral galaxy viewed almost exactly edge-on. Used as an example in many astronomy textbooks, it is a favorite target by many amateurs. It lies at a distance of approximately 35 million light-years.
